Dear Sofia, in learning music we all feel the same - at least from time to time - no matter what standard we reach. When I feel that I can't do it, I think of Galatea who persevered in her positivity and came to life. Then I ask myself, how would Galatea tackle that run of semiquavers? I am sure with your Brunhildean determination your voice is coming to life - it has to me anyway through your writing. Thank you as always for making me think.

Dear Victoria, it feels so good to have common experience reaffirmed. I love how you use a myth to guide you through practical challenges; I am finding mental constructs helpful in singing. Thank you for reading and for your supportive words!

This resonates with me deeply, Sofia. I'm working on finding my voice and claiming it and using it, on stopping myself from saying no to my instincts to express myself. Thank you for the inspiration, as always.
