Thank you so much for sharing. This is really informative, and it got me thinking. I have often been told people feel like I 'know it all'. Not because I interrupt, but because I often say something that goes 'beyond' - not sure what this means. The point is, I often feel like I'm lacking. I'm constantly listening and making mental lists of things I still need to look into. And when I say something that was regarded as 'beyond', I was in fact trying to make sure I understood the point by explaining it in different way. In short, I need to look into this. I think I somehow give off the wrong vibe.

Dear Meliha, the book prompted a lot of exploration and questioning of my habitual modes of using the voice. I find that listening to feedback and developing my awareness of what I do in the moment does help (not that I manage to do it a lot). I am reading Patsy Rodenburg's The Woman's Voice now - her most recent book. We could catch up over a coffee in town and talk about it.

I would love to talk about it. I'll send you a message next time I'm in town. Shoudl be next week, but I'm sure we can work something out 😊
