Love the personification. I often to say, fear and courage are two sides of the same coin/medal. I'm glad to learn that you've put that bugger fear in its place. Well written

I'm glad you liked the imagery. It makes sense that fear and courage are connected: I wonder whether courage is the ability to act not without the presence of fear, but despite it. Thank you for reading.

I watched a documentary inflight last night and it talked about Hope and Fear. Very interesting and made more sense in their competing energies. AI Doc or How I became an Apocaliptimist.

I did a TEDx talk: The Culture of Fear and discussed how courage is not the absence of fear while curiosity is the fuel for courage: what is fueling my fear? Why am I fearful?

Thank you for referencing your TedX talk. I found it full of inspiring points! I loved the image of the snails, always retreating into their shells out of fear, and the Averroes quote, so old and so relevant to our contemporary world. Thank you for ending on the practical advice to identify fears and work on them - an excellent prompt for a journaling session. Thank you for sharing your content.
